Abhishek Bachchan
That Abhishek Bachchan has always been compared to his dad Amitabh Bachchan is well-known but it seems now Junior Bachchan finally wants to make his own identity and come out of his dad’s shadows. Recently, during one of the events of Happy New Year, Shah Rukh Khan said that SLAM The Tour is not a promotional event and the cast of the film can choose to perform on their popular songs from other films too. Taking this as an opportune moment, a journalist asked Abhishek if he would be performing on any of his dad’s famous songs during the tour. He responded with his usual tongue-in-cheek wit, “Mere bhi ek-do songs popular hai. Unpe hi kuch kar loonga.”
When someone mentioned how his “English English” scene from HNY that has become quite popular by now, reminds one of his dad’s popular scene “I can talk English, I can walk English” from Namak Halal. Not one to be ruffled easily, Abhishek shot back. “Haan haan mere dad ne bhi aisa scene kiya tha.”
