Rishi Kapoor has been hospitalised for dengue and malaria at the Lilavati Hospital  in Mumbai. Meanwhile, a team from BMC’s pesticide department inspected his Pali Hill residence and found that the feng shui plants kept in the garden were the breeding point of the aedes mosquito, which causes dengue. Hence the veteran actor will be  sent a notice by BMC  as the dengue mosquitoes are not only a threat to his family members, but also to the neighbourhood.

Unwell

Sitara Devi, the 96-year-old Kathak queen and Padma Shri recipient, was admitted to Cumballa hospital in Mumbai in a precarious condition two weeks ago. She is likely to be operated on, depending on her condition. The octogenarian has been requesting the Maharashtra government for a plot of land in or around Mumbai for the last
40 years to start a classical dance academy in Mumbai, but her pleas have fallen on deaf ears.
