Alipurduar-SMVT Bengaluru Amrit Bharat Express: A new Amrit Bharat Express train service will soon start its operation on Alipurduar-SMVT Bengaluru route. This new non-AC train has been designed to provide affordable and high-quality service for passengers from lower and lower-middle income category. The train will pass through key cities across six states: West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.

Alipurduar-SMVT Bengaluru Amrit Bharat Express: Train number, Route

The Alipurduar-SMVT Bengaluru Amrit Bharat Express will operate as train number 16598, while the SMVT Bengaluru-Alipurduar Amrit Bharat service will run as train number 16597. The train will run via Bolpur Shantiniketan, Dankuni, Khurda Road, Nellore.

Alipurduar-SMVT Bengaluru Amrit Bharat Express train: Stoppages

During its journey between Alipurduar and SMVT Bengaluru, this new Amrit Bharat Express train will halt at 43 stations. These are: Hasimara, Binnaguri, Siliguri, New Jalpaiguri, Aluabari Road, Kishanganj, Barsoi, Malda Town, Rampurhat, Bolpur Shantiniketan, Barddhaman, Dankuni, Andul, Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur Keonjhar Road, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Balugaon, Brahmapur, Palasa, Srikakulam Road, Vizianagaram, Kottavalasa, Pendurti, Duvvada, Anakapalle, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, Tenali, Chirala, Ongole, Nellore, Renigunta, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Kuppam, Bangarapet, Krishnarajapuram.

Alipurduar-SMVT Bengaluru Amrit Bharat Express: Frequency, Composition

The Alipurduar-SMVT Bengaluru-Alipurduar Amrit Bharat Express will run as a weekly service. From Alipurduar, train number 16598 will depart on Monday while from SMVT Bengaluru, the train number 16597 will depart on Saturday. The train will be composed of 22 coaches.

Train number 16598 Alipurduar-SMVT Bengaluru Amrit Bharat Express will leave Alipurduar at 22:25 hrs on Monday and arrive at SMVT Bengaluru at 03:00 hrs on Thursday. In the return direction, train number 16597 SMVT Bengaluru-Alipurduar Amrit Bharat Express will depart SMVT Bengaluru at 08:50 hrs on Saturday to reach Alipurduar at 10:25 hrs on Monday.
