AB christens contestant’s kid on KBC

The actor christened one of the contestants’ daughter, Naveli when she came on the show

With the extraordinary fanbase that he has, Amitabh Bachchan may have come across many fans who are in awe of him and do unexpected things because of fanaticism. This time around, he discovered a female fan on his quiz show – Kaun Banega Crorepati – who waited for two years to get her daughter named by the superstar!
Khushboo Singh from Ajaigarh, Madhya Pradesh, who cracked the Fastest Finger First round to reach the hot-seat in Season Eight of the show, had made it to the fastest finger round even two years ago. Unfortunately, she couldn’t make it to the hot seat at that point, and blamed her new born daughter for the lost opportunity. To prove society wrong, she vowed to name her daughter once she got a chance to be on KBC’s hot seat.
As luck would have it, she was once again selected for the show. When she narrated the story and requested Bachchan to name her daughter, he happily obliged and named her Naveli, a name which is inspired by his granddaughter Navya Naveli. Like an elder in the family, Bachchan also gifted Khushboo gold kadas for her daughter.
