RRB JE, DMS, CMA 2025: Board revises exam schedule for CBT 1

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the tentative schedule for the recruitment cycle 2026-2027. As of now, the official website has an exam schedule for RRB JE/DMS/CMA, RRB ALP, Technician grade one Signal & Various Categories of Technicians grade three, and paramedical.

SSC Exam Calendar 2026

The cycle begins with the Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) exam under CEN 01/2025, which is scheduled to be held between February 16 and February 18, 2026. This is immediately followed by the first stage Computer-Based Test (CBT-I) for JE, DMS, and CMA posts (CEN 05/2025), which will be conducted on February 19, 20, and March 3, 2026.

The schedule continues into March with the recruitment for Technicians (Grade 1 Signal and various Grade 3 categories) under CEN 02/2025, taking place between March 5 and March 9, 2026. The Para-Medical Categories (CEN 03/2025) is slated from March 10 to March 12, 2026.

As shared in the notification by the Board, the link for viewing the exam city and date, and downloading the travel authority for SC/ST candidates will be made live 10 days before the final exam date of the candidate for respective CENs on the official websites of all RRBs. Additionally, the downloading of E-Call letters will start about 4 days before the exam date mentioned in the exam city slip.

The notification also mentioned that Aadhaar-linked biometric authentication of candidates will be done in the exam centre before entry in the exam hall. Due to this, all the RRB aspirants will be required to bring their original Aadhaar card. While filling the form, RR has strictly mentioned that they must authenticate their identification through Aadhaar verification, if not done already, by logging in with their credentials at rrbapply.gov.in to facilitate smooth entry at the examination centre.

Additionally, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official examination schedule for the 2026–27 recruitment cycle. The calendar provided by the Commission is a tentative timeline for the release of notifications, application windows, and the months in which major SSC exams—such as CGL, CHSL, JE, MTS, Stenographer, Sub-Inspector, and GD Constable—are expected to be conducted.
