Actress Vasundhara Kashyap, known for her roles in Tamil movies like ‘Peraanmai’ and ‘Then Merkku Paruvakaatru’, has run into controversy as some of her selfies have been leaked online. The selfies are mostly pictures of her getting intimate with her beau.
The Instagram account of the actress seems to have been hacked and all the intimate pictures have been posted, as she claims, without her knowledge.
Last seen in ‘Chithirayil Nilachuru’ in 2013, Vasundhara made her acting debut in ‘Vattaram’, opposite South superstar Arya, in 2006. She, however, had not been getting good offers lately.
The incident, akin to what happened recently with Hollywood actress Jennifer Lawrence, when her nude selfies were leaked online, has drawn flak and sympathy from the people in equal measure. While some express shock, many feel that it is a deliberate attempt to garner free publicity and to draw media attention to get offers.
