Pink Floyd to reunite for charity

Drummer Nick Mason and Roger Waters want to reunite the band for a low-key charity gig in England.

‘Pink Floyd’,the English rock band which enthralled the world with its psychedelic and progressive rock music is gearing for a reunion,this time in the name of charity.

Drummer Nick Mason along with Roger Waters has expressed his desire to reunite the band for a low-key charity gig in England,with other band members being supportive of the noble idea.

The legendary rockers who last performed together at the Live Aid Concert in 2005 want to repeat the nostalgia of as they slowly move towards retirement,Contactmusic reported.

“David and Nick and I might do a one-off (show) somewhere,but there’s no way we’re going to do a tour. Maybe like a Live 8 but probably just with us. I think all of us would like the idea of repeating the Live 8 concept,something that’s not necessarily for us,but do something for the right reasons and enjoy doing it. That’s what I’d like and I think the others might well see eye to eye,” said Waters.
