In the forthcoming film,Spy Kids: All the Time in the World, when Jessica Albas character Marissa fights an evil genius who is on the verge of taking on the world, audiences across the world can actually smell the blood and sweat. And much more, thanks to a new 4D technology. Hollywood director Robert Rodriguez has added the aroma effect in the film to enable a more interactive movie-watching experience.
The audience will be given an Aromascope card with the ticket, which will enable them to smell the action. The card will hold eight different types of smells, says Avinash Jumani of PictureWorks Company, which is distributing the film in India. A lot of people are inquisitive about the aroma feature as it is the first time that something like this is being experimented with, adds Jumani.
The film is set to release on August 19 and stars Alba,Jeremy Piven and Joel McHale. The storyline revolves around Marissa, who is now a retired spy,but finds herself thrown back into action. Her stepchildren have to learn to tolerate her as together, they team up to fight the latest villain. Full of mindboggling action and gadgets,
Spy Kids: All the Time in the World is the fourth film in the Spy Kids series.
