Nicole Kidman was warned against marrying Tom Cruise

“I became famous very young. I became very famous because I was the wife of somebody. I did a lot of good,worthwhile work in Australia between the ages of 14 and 19 and then I married someone famous. And really,despite the huge profile that brought to me,I was still finding my feet,” said Kidman.

The ‘Australia’ star met Cruise on the set on ‘Days of Thunder’ and married him at the age of 23 in 1990 because she was hopelessly in love with him.

“My agents at the time were like,’Do not get married! It will ruin your career!’ And I was like,’But I’m in love!’ ,” said Kidman.

After 10 years of married life,the couple split and Kidman went on to marry singer Keith Urban,with who she has a 15-month-old daughter Sunday Rose.

Cruise,who has two adopted children with Kidman,has a three-year-old daughter Suri with wife Katie Holmes.
