‘Heroine’ based on Manisha Koirala’s life?

Ever since Madhur Bhandarkar announced his ambitious project,‘Heroine,’ the film has been in the news for various reasons.

Now,it is heard that the film is inspired by the life of Manisha Koirala,who shot to fame in the 90s but then witnessed a sudden downfall in her career apparently due to alcohol abuse and failed relationships.

The Nepali beauty starred in hit films like ‘Saudagar’ ‘Bombay’ and ‘1942: A Love Story.’

The actress is currently going through a rough phase in her personal life too and has also been spotted in a drunken state in public places off late.

If it is true than Kareena Kapoor will be playing Manisha Koirala in the film.
