Ayesha Takia ties the knot with Farhan Azmi

The cute,bubbly and vivacious actress Ayesha Takia broke a million hearts as she tied the knot with long time boyfriend and restaurateur Farhan Azmi. The nikaah ceremony took place on Sunday,March 1,at Farhan’s Colaba restaurant and was attended by only close family and friends.

However,a grand reception was held at the CCI lawns yesterday (March 2) night and needless to say Bollywood made its presence felt in large numbers. Among the Bollywood bigwigs who made it to wish the couple were Abhishek & Jaya Bachchan,Sanjay & Manyata Dutt,Sunil Shetty,Riteish Deshmukh,Raj Babbar,Dino Morea,Bharat Shah,Imtiaz Ali and Nagesh Kukunoor.

Given the fact that the groom’s father Abu Azmi is an active politician,a number of political heavyweight were also present on this occasion.
