Apple’s long-rumoured foldable iPhone may finally be taking shape, and it could solve one of foldables’ biggest problems. According to recent speculation, the company’s first foldable iPhone, expected to launch sometime later this year, is also said to sport a “creaseless display.”

Until now, no company had demonstrated that such technology actually exists. But at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026, Samsung showcased a new foldable display with no visible crease, while also integrating an under-display camera into the panel.

According to a recent post on X by the known tipster IceUniverse, Samsung may use it in the much rumoured Galaxy Wide Fold, but it looks like Apple might be planning to use the same technology for the much anticipated iPhone Fold.
