Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has been undergoing treatment at a hospital in Ahmedabad after suffering a heatstroke. Shah Rukh's manager, Pooja Dadlani, has now taken to X (formerly Twitter) to update his fans about his health. In her post, Pooja confirmed that SRK is doing well and thanked everyone for their well wishes. She wrote, "To all of Mr Khan’s fans and well wishers - he is doing well. As the news of actor's hospitalisation spread, security was tightened around the hospital. While Shah Rukh's wife Gauri Khan is with him, his close friend and KKR partner Juhi Chawla and her husband Jay Mehta visited the actor at the hospital. "God willing, he will soon be up and in the stands on the weekend, cheering the team, as we play the finals." The actor was admitted to the multi-speciality K D Hospital on Wednesday. He was in Ahmedabad on Tuesday to attend an Indian Premier League (IPL) match of his Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) team at the Narendra Modi Stadium. As per a report by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Ahmedabad city was under "heatwave" on Tuesday and Wednesday when it recorded a maximum temperature of 45.2 and 45.9 degrees Celsius, respectively. KKR entered their fourth IPL final with a thumping eight-wicket win over Sunrisers Hyderabad in Qualifier 1 here on Tuesday.
