After delivering three films of the Baaghi franchise, actor Tiger Shroff and director Ahmed Khan are gearing up for the fourth installment. However, this news hasn’t been received well by some fans of the star who expressed their concerns on Twitter. One fan, a self-proclaimed as a ‘tigerian,’ went as far as warning Tiger against doing Baaghi 4, claiming it could potentially ‘downgrade his career’.
In an open letter to Tiger, the fan called working with Ahmed Khan again a ‘stupidity.’ She wrote, “Dear Tiger, You’ve faced a lot of criticism from both of your last films with NGE. But again you choose to do films with them and that too Baaghi 4. You shouldn’t do this already NGE & Ahmed Khan have ruined your reputation. This is very disappointing, and I’d say this is the stupidity of yours.”
Touched by the fan’s concerns, Tiger responded promptly on social media. He wrote, “Hi Khushi. Thank you so much for your concern and advice. Dont worry ill make you proud again. Will keep everything in mind.”
While the Baaghi franchise has been successful at the box office, it hasn’t fared well with the critics. Both Baaghi 2 and Baaghi 3 received mixed reviews, with the former being criticised for its weak plotline and the latter for lacking logic. Similarly, Tiger and Ahmed’s recent collaboration, Heropanti 2, failed to meet expectations and struggled at the box office.
Other than Baaghi 4, Tiger has a few other projects in the pipeline. His upcoming films include Vikas Bahl’s Ganapath and Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.
