Tanushree Dutta says Nana Patekar and Vivek Agnihotri still ‘need’ her for promotion of their movie: ‘These people can’t sell their films’
Refusing to talk about Nana Patekar, Tanushree Dutta said that he has become "irrelevant" now and she doesn't want to give any "publicity" to him.

Actor Tanushree Dutta recently lashed out at Nana Patekar at a press conference held in Mumbai. Refusing to talk about him, Dutta said that he has become “irrelevant” now and she doesn’t want to give any “publicity” to him by talking about him on a public platform.
As a reporter asked Dutta why people who “ruined” her career are having a successful career, and she is not getting any offers, the actor said, “Why are we discussing them? People like Nana Patekar and Vivek Agnihotri have nothing to do with me now. Why should we talk about these people? I don’t want to give publicity by talking about them. Even today, they need my name to run their films. Even when I had an argument with Nana Patekar in 2008, his film was not selling. When they can’t sell their films, they come to people like me and ask me to do a cameo in their film so that their film can sell.”
She continued, “Even in 2008, Nana Patekar couldn’t sell his film and even today he can’t sell his film on his own, so he incites the media so that the media can ask me questions about his films and I, like a volcano, will say something which will give fame to his film. They are already on the road anyway.”
Dutta then refused to answer any further questions about Nana Patekar or Vivek Agnihotri and shrugged her shoulders when told that Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files won the National Award recently.
In 2018, Tanushree Dutta levelled sexual harassment allegations against Nana Patekar. The actor said that she was harassed by Patekar on the sets of the 2009 film Horn Ok Pleassss. According to a 2008 Times of India report, Tanushree filed a complaint with the Cine and Television Artistes Association (CINTAA) for damage to her property and reputation. After she brought up the matter of Patekar’s misbehaviour, she was replaced by Rakhi Sawant in the movie.
