Sunny Leone on Sunday unveiled “Mera Piya Ghar Aaya 2.0”, the recreated version of Madhuri Dixit’s hit dance number “Mera Piya Ghar Aaya”. The original song was picturised on Madhuri in the 1995 hit movie Yaarana.

“Mera Piya Ghar Aaya 2.0” is sung by Neeti Mohan, and composed by Enbee and Anu Malik. Zee Music Company shared the music video via Instagram and captioned it, “When the beat drops, there’s no stopping the groove!#MeraPiyaGharAaya2.0 Song is OUT NOW!”

The song is receiving positive reactions on social media. A comment on YouTube read, “Sunny Leone has come a long way! ️Look how beautifully she danced on this. She proved that she is still the queen of music videos.” Another user commented, “Neeti Mohan vocals are perfect for the remake.”

On Thursday, Sunny Leone shared a teaser of “Mera Piya Ghar Aaya 2.0” and captioned it, “So proud to share this with the world!! It was such an honour to remake @madhuridixitnene’s song in such a big way #MerePiyaGharAaya2.0 TEASER is OUT now.”

On the film front, Sunny will next be seen in Kennedy, helmed by Anurag Kashyap. The film also stars Rahul Bhat and Abhilash Thapliyal in the lead roles. Kennedy was screened at the Cannes Film Festival 2023, where it received a standing ovation.
