Mumbai BJP launches ‘War Room’ for BMC polls

“The war room will handle tasks such as data crunching, feedback collection, information analysis, and monitoring. Feedback will be taken from and shared with ward-level workers who are directly engaged in the election campaign. The war room will function as the party’s command center in Mumbai until the results of the municipal elections are declared, that is, for the next 25 days,” said Satam.

The BJP leader also recalled the 2019 political shift. “Thackeray had in 2019 betrayed term to align with Congress and NCP for power and CM post. It gave up Hindutva and embarked on appeasement of Muslim politics,” he said. With the BMC elections approaching, the Mumbai BJP has launched a “War Room” and an “Election Office” to coordinate campaign operations. The war room was inaugurated by BJP national joint general secretary Shiv Prakash in the presence of Mumbai Suburban Guardian Minister and State Minister for Information Technology and Cultural Affairs Advocate Ashish Shelar, and Mumbai BJP president and MLA Ameet Satam.

It was followed by a meeting of the Mumbai BJP Election Coordination Committee, which was attended by Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal.

He further stated that after the MVA’s “rout” in the municipal council elections, the UBT group “must now have realized the consequences of aligning with ‘Mamu’.” The remark was directed at Uddhav Thackeray, whom Satam accused of “appeasement politics of minorities.”

The BJP leader also recalled the 2019 political shift. “Thackeray had in 2019 betrayed term to align with Congress and NCP for power and CM post. It gave up Hindutva and embarked on appeasement of Muslim politics,” he said.

“Yesterday’s election results are a blessing for the BJP from the people. The people of Mumbai will elect more than 150 BJP corporators, and the Mahayuti will have its mayor in the BMC,” he added.
