‘Singham’ sequel to be called ‘Singham Returns’

The 'Singham' sequel which is currently under production was earlier named 'Singham 2'.

‘Singham Returns’ is being directed by Rohit Shetty.

The second installment of superstar Ajay Devgn-starrer ‘Singham’ is now officially titled as ‘Singham Returns’.

The sequel to the hit 2011 action-comedy which is currently under production was earlier named ‘Singham 2’. The second part, being directed by Rohit Shetty, is a continuation of the story of an honest police officer played by Devgn in 2011.

The new addition to ‘Singham Returns’ is actress Kareena Kapoor who is paired opposite Devgn. Ajay and Kareena’s on-screen chemistry has been appreciated in both serious and comedy genres as in films like ‘Omkara’, ‘Golmaal Returns’, ‘Golmaal 3’, and ‘Satyagraha’.

‘Singham Returns’ is slated for August next year release.
