Shah Rukh Khan is one of the rare stars, after Amitabh Bachchan, about whom people have only good things to share. While the actor continues to be the biggest star of Bollywood even at 59, people who have worked with him always narrate stories of his kindness and generosity. Now, Rajesh Khattar, who studied in the same college as Shah Rukh Khan in New Delhi, recalled when they were a part of the theatre circuit. “He is very grounded and real,” said the actor in an interview with Friday Talkies.
Rajesh Khattar, who personally knew Shah Rukh Khan from the beginning of his career and through college life, got to work with him in his 2006 film Don. Recalling his experience with the actor, Rajesh shared, “We are both from same college and because we are both from Delhi, we were aware of each other. We were both from theatre and we both worked in a lot of Hindu-Sikh series that were made during those days.”
Previously, Shah Rukh Khan’s school friend Palash Sen had also spoken about his childhood days, claiming SRK’s decision to take up acting came as a surprise to them. In an interview with Lallantop, Palash said, “I believe that whatever success Shah Rukh has achieved in his chosen field, he would have achieved in any other field as well. He’s among the most exceptionally intelligent men I’ve met in my entire life.”
On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is all set to star in the film King. The film will be directed by his Pathaan director, Siddharth Anand, and will feature his daughter Suhana Khan, and Abhishek Bachchan.
