Fans have been speculating about the rumoured relationship between actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu and director Raj Nidimoru for a few months now. Although it initially seemed that they were just colleagues-turned-friends, rumours have been swirling that there might be something romantic brewing between them. While neither of them has addressed, let alone confirmed, these speculations, the tittle-tattles have continued unabated since they are often spotted together.

While they were previously seen together mostly in happening environments like a stadium, where her Chennai Super Champs team was playing a pickleball match, they are now spotted even in more mundane places, further fuelling dating rumours. Recently, Raj and Samantha were seen leaving a gym in Mumbai together, adding to the speculations.

In a video that has since gone viral, the first half of the Raj & DK filmmaker duo can be seen exiting the building after his workout and getting into a car. Shortly after, Samantha walks out of the gym briskly, talking to someone on the phone, and gets into the same car from the other side. However, they refrained from posing together for the paparazzi or fans who had gathered outside the building.

A few weeks ago, Samantha had shared a video showcasing many memorable moments from her recent trip to Dubai, which included a clip of her holding a man’s hand. Although she chose not to reveal the person’s face, netizens quickly concluded that it was Raj. The latest video of them hitting the gym together has only intensified the rumours.

Samantha was previously married to actor Naga Chaitanya, but they parted ways in 2021. Subsequently, she announced that she was taking a break from cinema for treatment after being diagnosed with Myositis. She was most recently seen in a cameo role in the film Subham, which she produced.

Raj Nidimoru, with whom Samantha worked on The Family Man: Season 2, was married to Shhyamali De. Although their current marital status is unknown, Shhyamali still has pictures of the two of them together on her Instagram handle. While she too is yet to officially respond to the rumours, Shhyamali has often shared cryptic posts on social media.
