Saif Ali Khan covers up 16 year old tattoo of Kareena on forearm, fans wonder if this is for a film

Saif Ali Khan seems to have covered up his 'Kareena' tattoo on his left forearm. Fans are wondering if this is for a film.

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor have been together since 2007 and during the early days of their relationship, Saif got Kareena’s name inked on his left forearm in Devnagri. The tattoo has been there for all these years and has been quite visible, since it is on his arm but recently, a paparazzi handle noticed that Saif has now covered up his tattoo. A new photo online shows that Saif has another tattoo on his left forearm.

Fans in the comment section wondered if this was for a film as one of them wrote, “Chill everyone it’s for a movie 😂”. Another fan wondered what the tattoo design meant but the comments section could not conclusively figure it out.

Back in 2008, when Saif first debuted his tattoo, many compared it to David Beckham’s Victoria tattoo on his left forearm. Back then too, Saif had said that he got the tattoo to show his commitment towards Kareena. “I wanted to say, ‘Look, this is what I have done and it’s a pretty serious commitment. I can wave it in your face every time you say ‘Casanova’! I’ll say, ‘But I haven’t done that before’,” he said.

In an earlier interview with Brides Today, Kareena had shared how their son Taimur is fascinated by the tattoo on Saif’s forearm. “I think the most romantic thing is when my son points at it now and asks. Like, he is all the time looking at that tattoo. And Saif is like, ‘This is your amma’s name’. And he (Taimur) keeps wondering like, ‘What is he saying?’ I think that’s a special moment for me,” she said.

Saif and Kareena first started dating in 2007. The couple got married in 2012 and are now parents to two children – Taimur Ali Khan and Jeh Ali Khan.
