Ten years after their last Indian Premier League (IPL) victory, the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) finally clinched the coveted trophy for the third time, defeating the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the final match held at the MA Chidambaram Stadium (Chepauk Stadium) in Chennai on Sunday. As the team emerged victorious, all eyes naturally turned to the stands, looking for that one face — KKR co-owner Shah Rukh Khan's. Along with hundreds of spectators and his family members, Bollywood's Baadshah erupted in cheers, celebrating his team's victory. Shah Rukh Khan's wife Gauri Khan and their children — Aryan, Suhana and AbRam — had also arrived to watch the IPL 2024 final match and they shared some warm moments at Chepauk Stadium during their time there. Now, more videos of the Khan family have surfaced online, capturing their close-knit bond and winning the hearts of many. With the match predominantly in favour of the Shreyas Iyer-led team, the KKR box was in high spirits throughout. Even Aryan Khan, usually seen with a serious demeanour, was caught on the jumbotron laughing and joking with his friends. The video clip, which appeared on the jumbotron, showed Aryan interacting with his friends, cracking jokes and making funny faces. As the camera cut to his mother Gauri, she was spotted trying to catch Aryan's attention after seeing him on the screen, smiling from ear to ear at his gestures. Meanwhile, another video featuring the film producer-fashion designer has also grabbed netizens' attention, wherein she can be seen strictly monitoring and gently scolding Shah Rukh Khan whenever he took off his face mask at the stadium. It may be recalled that SRK was recently admitted to a hospital in Ahmedabad after suffering a heatstroke. Though he was later discharged, SRK has been wearing a face mask in public since then.
