India vs South Africa 5th T20 Match Playing 11, Full Squad: Suryakumar Yadav’s India face Aiden Markram’s South Africa in the fifth and final T20I of the series in Ahmedabad on Friday. India lead 2-1, which means that the best South Africa can do is draw the series. A series win for them was ruled out when the fourth T20I was abandoned due to excessive fog in Lucknow. India themselves could’ve sealed a 14th consecutive series win had they won that match and they can still do it if they win in Ahmedabad.

Gill had been seen with the rest of the team when they arrived in Ahmedabad and didn’t seem to have any issues with his toe, which is the injury that he was rumoured to be suffering from. Ahmedabad has been a happy hunting ground for Gill across formats and he would be hoping to make a big mark here, with questions swirling around his spot in the Indian T20I side.
