Mamata Banerjee condoles Saeed Jaffrey’s death
Mamata Banerjee on Monday (November 16) condoled the death of Saeed Jaffrey, who passed away at the age of 86.
“Saddened at the passing away of veteran actor Saeed Jaffrey. End of an era. Condolences to his family and friends,” Mamata Banerjee tweeted.

Saeed appeared in several Indian as well as British movies, such as Satyajit Ray’s “Shatranj Ke Khilari”, Richard Attenborough’s “Gandhi” and David Lean’s “A Passage to India”.
