Jab They Met: Shahid Kapoor clicks selfie with Kareena Kapoor’s husband Saif Ali Khan

Saif Ali Khan was at the Jhalak house to promote his upcoming movie ‘Phantom’ with co-star Katrina Kaif, where Shahid judges the celebrity contestants. The meeting, as one would think, could have been awkward. But Karan Johar, Shahid’s co-judge and good friends with Kareena, seemed to have come to the rescue.

Not only did Karan Johar lighten up the atmosphere, but also managed having Shahid, Saif and Katrina clicked together in a selfie. KJo took to Instagram to post the picture and captioned it, “Jab They Met.”

Looks like the actors have moved on from their past and are ready to embrace new friendships.

It was also reported that Shahid had invited Saif and Kareena to his wedding reception, but Saifeena weren’t able to make it. Days later, Kareena was quoted as saying that she wishes Shahid all the luck for his future and said that she was sure that Shahid would be an excellent husband because he is an excellent human being.

Shahid also, time and again, has been seen praising Kareena for her acting repertoire and has always wished good for her. At the trailer launch of his upcoming movie ‘Shaandaar’, Shahid had said, “It’s a big compliment for Alia Bhatt that she is being compared with Kareena.”

The two stars in question – Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan -have also signed a movie – Vishal Bharadwaj’s ‘Rangoon’ – together. Vishal Bharadwaj has given both of them the most acclaimed performance of their careers – ‘Haider’ to Shahid and ‘Omkara’ to Saif.

For the uninitiated, Shahid and Kareena Kapoor were in a relationship for almost four years, after which they broke up and in 2012, Kareena married Saif. Shahid was then linked to a bevy of Bollywood actresses but he opted for an arranged marriage with Delhi based Mira Rajput on July 7 this year. Shahid last shared screen space with Kareena in the 2007 award winning movie ‘Jab We Met’.
