Arijit Singh posts a heartfelt letter on Facebook, pleading Salman Khan to retain his song in Sultan; deletes it later
An upset Arijit Singh had posted a Facebook apology to Salman Khan, desperately pleading the Sultan actor to retain a song he'd sung for him, only to delete it later, fearing a backfire.

Popular singer Arijit Singh seems very upset, and his Facebook page posts stand witness to the mental and emotional turmoil he’s going through. Going by the two recent posts by the Tum Hi Ho artiste, all is not right between crew members of the much-awaited Salman Khan-starrer Sultan.
Speculations have been rife about Arijit – who has sung a song for Salman in Sultan – having rubbed the superstar the wrong way at a gala music programme. Now, confirming the rumours, a worried Arijit posted a heartfelt letter on his Facebook profile, pleading Salman to retain the song sung by him in Sultan. The singer also apologised to the Ek Tha Tiger hero, enumerating the times he tried to personally apologise to the star, but to no avail.
Below is the letter Arijit posted on his profile.
When Arijit posted the letter on such a public platform as Facebook, there were concerns about whether this was a wise decision. After all, precedence suggests otherwise. Or, was this Salman’s way of ensuring a public apology from Arijit for the wrong he may or may not have committed.

It seems, the singer had second thoughts as well, since he later deleted the post within an hour. Instead, he posted this: “I hope he gets my letter through someway. Ps. This whole thing will backfire at me I know. Prayers.”
All eyes are now on Salman’s next move.
