Amitabh Bachchan says he won’t ever allow Abhishek Bachchan, Shweta Bachchan to go skydiving: ‘Parachute na khula toh?’
Amitabh Bachhan doesn't allow kids Abhishek Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan to go skydiving and advised a KBC contestant's mother not to do so either.

Abhishek Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan wish to go skydiving but can’t because of their father and legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan. The senior actor doesn’t allow Abhishek and Shweta to try the adventure sport as he is scared that the parachute won’t open leading to a mishap.
During the latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 15, contestant Aakash Patidar requested Big B to convince his mother to let him go skydiving. The actor nodded in affirmation but then told Aakash’s mother to never give him permission for the adventure sport.
The actor told Aakash’s mother, “The next time he comes to ask you for permission, don’t allow him. I am also a father and my children also tell me that they want to do skydiving. Abhishek and Shweta both have said. But I have strictly told them not to do it.”
In his patent style, senior Bachchan continued, “Andher nagri chaupat raja, God knows from where will they jump. They tell me people do it after proper training and they take a parachute with them. Na khule toh? Imagine what would happen if the parachute doesn’t work, have you ever thought about it? Jaan boojh ke risk thodi na lena hai (One should not take the risk). If you have to jump, jump into the sea and hunt for fish, not from the sky.”
Amitabh Bachchan’s fatherly concern left the audience in the studio in splits. Not just on the show, Big B is quite expressive of his love and concern for his children on social media. He is a cheerleader for his actor-son Abhishek Bachchan and often showers love on him through his posts.
“It is wonderful,” Abhishek told Indianexpress.com when he was asked about having his father show overwhelming love for him on social media. “But times you feel it’s a bit excessive, it’s embarrassing and I told him that once, ‘Hey, can you just back off a bit? Take your foot off the accelerator!’ But we forget, he is also a father. I am a father today and I know the raw emotion that comes with a child. You can’t blame him.”
