Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek head to Madras Cafe to celebrate team India’s win against England: ‘Took the pants off Brits’

Actor Amitabh Bachchan was recently spotted with his son Abhishek Bachchan at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium. They were there on Sunday to watch the final T20I match between India and England. After India’s win over England, the two stars headed to Madras Cafe in Matunga to celebrate the occasion. Photos and videos from the same have surfaced online.

In a video, Amitabh Bachchan, dressed in a white hoodie and black pants, was seen stepping outside the eatery, followed by his son Abhishek Bachchan, who was wearing an India jersey. Fans crowded around them, wanting to click pictures with them. However, they were escorted safely out of the venue. The actors were seen smiling and waving at their fans as they got into their car.

Previously, photos of Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan engrossed in the game also surfaced online. They were seen sitting together in the stadium. Other celebrities like Aamir Khan, Rajeev Shukla, Mukesh Ambani, Akash Ambani, Rishi Sunak, Narayan Murthy, and Manoj Badale were also spotted enjoying the game at the Wankhede stadium.

Later Amitabh Bachchan shared his experience of watching the match in his latest blog. He wrote, “Took the pants off the Brits .. what a drubbing we gave them .. beating them in a One Day game by 150 runs!!! Uff !!! that is not even a joke .. it’s simply a devastation , destroyed , ravaged… by a superiority unheard of… Team INDIA .. pride and salutations and much much more.”

Amitabh Bachchan was last seen in the Nag Ashwin directorial Kalki 2898 AD. Meanwhile, Abhishek Bachchan will be next seen in the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer King, also starring his daughter Suhana Khan.
