Abhishek Bachchan has been in the industry for nearly three decades. Yet, the actor is often compared to his father as well as wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in terms of success as an actor. In a recent interview, Abhishek opened up about whether these comparisons trouble him. Speaking to CNBC-TV18, he said, "It’s never going to get easy. But after 25 years of being asked the same question, I have become immune to it. If you are comparing me to my father, you are comparing me to the best. If you are comparing me to the best, somewhere I believe that maybe I am worthy of being considered among these great names. I look at it like that." The actor added, "My parents are my parents, my family is my family, my wife is my wife, and I am immensely proud of them and their achievements and what they continue to do." He also spoke about his daughter Aaradhya Bachchan and expressed his desire to be able to work as actively as his father at 82 and being admired by his daughter. He’s leading by example. I want to be like that. When I go to bed at night, all I think is that when I am 82, I want my daughter to be able to say that about me, ‘Hey, my dad’s 82 and he’s still at it.’" Previously speaking with Galatta Plus, Abhishek Bachchan had said that he never sees his family legacy as a burden but privilege. "I wake up every morning wanting to do good service to that," said the actor. Abhishek Bachchan, who was recently seen in the film I Want To Talk, will be sharing the screen with his Happy New Year co-star Shah Rukh Khan in the film King, also starring Suhana Khan.
