WBCHSE HS 12th Result 2023 on May 24: Date and time announced

The students can check their result at the official website - wb.allresults.nic.in. Over 8.52 lakh students had appeared for the class 12 examinations.

WBCHSE HS Class 12th Result Date and time: The West Bengal Council for Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) today announced the date and time for the declaration of class 12 HS results. The WBCHSE HS students can check their result from May 24 at 12:30 pm onwards at the official website – wbresults.nic.in.

The HS exams were held from March 14 to March 27 and were conducted from 10 am to 1:15 pm. The first fifteen minutes were given to read the question paper. Over 8.52 lakh students had appeared for the class 12 examinations. 

The practical examinations were held from December 5 to December 21, 2022. 

Higher Education and School Education Department Minister, Bratya Basu today made the announcement via Twitter.

In 2022, 7,44,655 students had registered for class 12 exams and 6,36,875 students passed the class 12 exam which were held from April 2 till April 26 and the result was declared on June 10. The overall pass percentage was 88.44 per cent. 90.19 per cent of male candidates passed the West Bengal class 12 examination and a total of 86.9 per cent female candidates passed. 

In 2021, class 12 examinations were not held due to Covid-19 pandemic. The students were evaluated by giving 40 per cent weightage marks for class 10 subjects and 60 per cent weightage marks for class 11 subjects. The overall pass percentage was 97.69 per cent. A total of 8,19,202 students were supposed to appear for the class 12 exams. The result was declared on May 22.
