More than 60 riders competed across over 10 categories, including 25-plus novice riders who participated in a major motorsports event for the first time
Punjab DirtCross 2025 was successfully held in Sector 66, Mohali, on an international-standard dirt track, with the aim of promoting motorsports and strengthening the riding community in North India, particularly in Punjab. The high-octane event was powered by Full Throttle Nation and organised by Punjab MX, and witnessed thrilling races, high energy, and strong camaraderie among riders.
More than 60 riders competed across over 10 categories, including 25-plus novice riders who participated in a major motorsports event for the first time. Riders from Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, New Delhi, Punjab, and Chandigarh took part.
Punjab DirtCross 2025 attracted spectators from different age groups. The races were marked not only by intense competition but also by exemplary sportsmanship, with experienced racers actively supporting and encouraging first-time participants, reflecting the growing and inclusive spirit of Indian motocross.
Speaking on the occasion, the organiser, J P Singh Dhillon, said that Punjab DirtCross aims to “provide a professional platform for emerging riders and nurture grassroots motorsports talent in the region”, adding that the response from riders and spectators clearly shows the rising popularity of dirt racing in North India.
The championship witnessed outstanding performances across all categories. Dhritimaan Singh of Dehradun emerged as the overall champion by clinching the Pace of Ace title, while Abhishek Sharma from Kullu dominated the Novice Category. In the India Open category, Santosh Bishnoi of Jaipur, Rajasthan, delivered an impressive performance to secure the top spot. Kanwaljit Gill claimed the title in the KTM Category, while Nitish Bhardwaj from Manali emerged victorious in Group A. In the women’s segment, Nishita Dhiman of Dehradun was declared the fastest woman rider, earning loud applause from the crowd.
With its professional track, strong participation, and enthusiastic audience, Punjab DirtCross 2025 concluded on a successful note, reinforcing Punjab’s growing reputation as an emerging hub for motorsports.
