West Bengal Madhyamik exam 2025 datesheet out, exams to begin on February 10

The West Bengal Board further mentioned that the exam dates of some subjects such as – physical education and social service, and work education will be announced later.

The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) on July 2 released the datasheet for the Madhyamik or Class 10 board exams for the 2024-2025 year. Candidates affiliated with the West Bengal board can access the WB Madhyamik timetable 2025 at the official website – wbbse.wb.gov.in.

According to the WB time table, the WBBSE Madhyamik exams 2025 are scheduled to begin on February 10 and conclude on February 22. The exam will held in only one shift starting at 10:45 am and ending at 2 pm. The first 15 minutes will be provided for reading the question papers only.

In 2024, the West Bengal Board exam for class 10 was held from February 2 and February 12 and two shifts — a morning shift from 11:45 am to 3 pm and another from  9:45 am to 1 pm, in offline mode.

The West Bengal Madhyamik result in 2024 was declared on May 2 where 86.31 per cent of candidates passed. This year, a total of 9,12,598 students appeared for the exams which included 4,03,900 boys and 5,08,698 girls, and as many as 7,64,252 students passed the exam. 

The topper of WBBSE Madhyamik exams 2025 was Chandrachur Sen who obtained a total of 693 marks (99 per cent), followed by Shyamapriya Guru with 692 marks ( 98.86 per cent). The rank 3 was shared by three students — Udayan Prasad, Pushpita Basuri, and Nairit Ranjan Paul. They scored 691 marks (98.71 per cent) each.
