TN SSLC Result 2024 Declared: The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (TNDGE) today announced the SSLC results. Those who appeared for the class 10 exams can now check their TN SSLC results at the official websites — dge.tn.nic.in or tnresults.nic.in. A candidate must score at least 35 marks in each subject to pass Tamil Nadu SSLC board exams. Those who could secure a passing grade can now apply for supplementary exams. The registration for supplementary exams will begin from May 11. The TN students who want to apply for re-evaluation can apply from May 15 to 20. The re-examination will be held on July 2. This time, the overall pass percentage for SSLC has been recorded at 91.55 per cent. A total of 8,18,743 students passed from the 8,94,264 who had appeared, of which 4,22,591 were girls and 3,96,152 were boys. Like like last year, this time too, girls have outshined boys by scoring 94.53 per cent, while boys scored 88.58 per cent. In 2023, girls performed better by securing a pass percentage of 94.66 per cent, while boys scored a pass percentage of 88.16 per cent. This time, the Tamil Nadu government has announced special coaching classes for students who will fail to get a passing grade in TN 10th results today. These classes will begin from May 13, and the School Education Department has also announced that mock exams will be held every Saturday to help students practice.
