TSTET Result 2024: The Telangana School Education Department announced the results of the Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TS TET) today, June 12. The candidates can download the results from the official website — schooledu.telangana.gov.in and tstet2024.aptonline.in.

The Telangana TET exam was held from May 20 to June 3. The duration of the test was 2 hours 30 minutes and papers were held in two sessions – from 9 am to 11:30 am and 2 pm to 4:30 pm. The provisional answer key and the candidates’ responses have been published before the result announcement. The final answer key is awaited.

The TET score will have a 20 per cent weightage in teacher recruitment tests in Telangana. To pass the examination, general candidates need to score at least 60 per cent marks, BC category candidates need 50 per cent marks or above and SC/ST/Differently abled candidates need 40 per cent marks or more.

The exam determines qualification to teach grades 1 to 8 in government, Mandal Parishad, Zilla Parishad, and both private aided and unaided schools across Telangana. Candidates who have completed or are in their final year of a teaching diploma program (DElEd, DEd, or BEd) or hold equivalent qualifications like language pandit certifications are eligible.
