The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (TNDGE) is set to commence the Class 12 theory exams from March 1. The TN board Class 12 exams will start with the language exam on the first day, and will continue till March 22. The Directorate will conduct the Class 12 exams from 10:15 am to 1:15 pm. Students will be given 15 minutes of question paper reading time before the start of the exams. TN board earlier made the TN HSC Class 12 exam hall tickets available to the students. Candidates taking the Tamil Nadu board Class 12 exam will not be allowed to enter the exam hall without the hall ticket. Carrying the admit card and the school ID card are mandatory. Students are advised to reach the exam centre before the reporting time. Around 8.51 lakh students appeared in the TN Board HSE exams last year from Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. Out of the 8.51 lakh, there were more than 5.36 lakh students from the Science stream, over 2.54 lakh students from commerce and nearly 14,000 students from the arts stream and around 46,000 students from vocational. The pass percentage last year stood at 94.03 per cent. Meanwhile, the plus one TN board 2024 exam will begin on March 4 and continue till March 25, the SSLC Class 10 public examination has been set to be held between March 26 and April 8. The TN HSC 2024 results will be declared on May 6.
