MBOSE Result 2024 (Out): Meghalaya SSLC, HSSLC Arts results declared at mbose.in, megresults.nic.in

MBOSE SSLC, HSSLC Result 2024: Students can check the official website to view their results -- mbose.in. The Meghalaya board will declare the marks on May 24.

MBOSE Class 10th, 12th Result: The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) released the Class 10 (SSLC) and Class 12 HSSLC Arts stream results on May 24. The MBOSE students can check their scorecards at the official websites – mbose.in or megresults.nic.in.

Candidates will be required to key in their roll number, application number, and date of birth, and provide captcha to check the scorecard.

The MBOSE 2024 scorecard will contain personal details such as – the student’s name, roll number, school code, school name and marks scored by candidates in different subjects with cumulative scores.

This year, 55.80 per cent of students were declared successful. Anuj Chetry of Sherwood School in Tura topped the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examination by securing 575 marks. He was followed by Aleytheia Syiemlieh of St Margaret’s Higher Secondary School in Shillong with 574 marks, while Congenial Kharsahnoh of Christian Academy in Shillong secured the third position with 571 marks.

A total of 54,134 students from 679 schools appeared in the examination. Of them, 30,207 or 55.80 per cent of students cleared the examination. Last year, the pass percentage was 51.93, officials said. The results of the Arts stream of the Higher Secondary Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) examination for class 12 was also declared, and 79.76 per cent of students cleared it.

Menangmankhraw Kharkongor of St Anthony’s Higher Secondary School and Gaurav Bharali of St Edmund’s Higher Secondary School shared the top position with 468 marks, while Tanisha Das and Salseng Marak, both of Don Bosco College Higher Secondary School in Tura, secured the second and third positions by scoring 451 and 450 marks, respectively. In the HSSLC examination, 27,374 students from 251 schools appeared. Of them, 21,833 or 79.76 per cent of students cleared the exams. Last year, the pass percentage was 80.30.

MBOSE 10th, 12th Result 2024: Date and Time

As per the official announcement, MBOSE will announce the SSLC and HSSLC Arts results on May 24. As soon as the result is declared, students will be able to access it from the official website – mbose.in or megresults.nic.in.

Last year, the board released SSLC results on May 26 and the overall pass percentage stood at 80.30 per cent. Girls performed better than the boys. The pass percentage of regular category girls was 88.40 and regular category boys were 81.55 per cent. A total of 25,898 students applied for the exams of which 25,437 appeared and 20,425 students cleared the exam.

Last year, the SSLC result was declared on May 23, for the exams which were conducted between March 3 to March 17, and before that, the result was declared on June 10, for the exams conducted between March 24 and April 6.

In 2023, boys outshined girls in Meghalaya board SSLC exam 2023 by obtaining a passing percentage of 70.39 pass per cent in general category, whereas girls in general category scored 68.86 passing percentage. Last year the SSLC topper Samridhya Das of Sherwood School Tura secured 572 marks out of 600 whereas second rank was received by Jyotipriya Bhattacharjee of St. Margaret’s Higher Secondary School, Shillong securing 570 marks.

For HSSLC 2024, the MBOSE examination started with English Language being the first paper on March 1. The exam hall was opened at 9:30 am, whereas students were provided with question papers at 9:45 am and at 9:50 am answer sheets were distributed.

Last year, the board released the HSSLC results on May 26 and the overall pass percentage stood at 80.30 per cent, the girls performed better than the boys while the pass percentage of regular category girls was 88.40 and regular category boys was 81.55 per cent, whereas a total of 25,898 students applied for the exams out of which 25,437 out of which 20,425 students cleared the exam.

After the announcement of the Meghalaya board results, students who fail to clear the exams will be able to appear for the compartment/ supplementary exams. Information about the compartmental exams will be announced after the result declaration.
