Karnataka 2nd PUC (Class 12th) Result 2023: The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board today declared the results of the 2nd PUC exam. Students who appeared for the exam can check the result at the official website — karresults.nic.in.
The results were declared in a press conference at 10 am. The overall pass percentage has increased to 74.67 per cent this year. The exams were held from March 9 to 29, 2023.
The students will have to visit the official website— karresults.nic.in. Click on the result link on the homepage given on the homepage. Enter your credentials such as roll number and date of birth. View and download the result for future reference.
The board will also send the results to the students’ registered mobile numbers through SMS, as per reports. Students can also get their II PUC results via SMS as well. Students have to send a message KAR12<ROLLNUMBER> to 56263.
This year, 7,27,923 students registered for the exam, out of which 7,25,821 students were eligible and 7,02,067 students appeared for the exam. According to the data, 5,24,209 students have been declared pass in this year’s Class 12 exams.
A total of 2,34,815 students registered from the arts stream, 2,47,269 from the commerce stream and 2,44,129 students registered from the science stream.
A total of 2,704 students scored centum (100/100) in Mathematics, followed by 5,335 in Computer Science and 3,475 in Accountancy. A total of 1,09,509 students scored distinction this year (85% above) while 77,371 students scored third or pass class (below 50%).
In 2022, over 6.83 lakh students appeared for the exam out of which 4,22,966 passed the exam and the pass percentage was 61.88 per cent.
The evaluation was done from April 4 in 65 centres by around 25,000 evaluators. As many as 45 lakh answer papers were evaluated in 37 subjects.
