Navodaya Vidyalaya Class 6 Admit Card Released At navodaya.gov.in: The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) today issued the admit card for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) for Class 6 admissions. Candidates who filled the JNVST 2026 application can now download the admit card from the official website – navodaya.gov.in. However, the admit cards are now released only for the summer-bound schools. The admit card for the State of Kerala will be released shortly, the official website said.

JNVST 2026 for Class 6 admission will be conducted in two phases, depending on the applicant’s location. While phase 1 will be held on December 13, 2025, phase 2 will be conducted on April 11, 2026

States/UTs covered under phase 1 are Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Haryana, Jharkhand, Kerala, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal (except Darjeeling), and all Union Territories (except Ladakh)

Regions covered in phase 2 are selected districts of Jammu and Kashmir (excluding Jammu-I, Jammu-II, Samba and Udhampur), Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh (Dibang Valley & Tawang), Himachal Pradesh (Chamba, Kinnaur, Mandi, etc.), Darjeeling in West Bengal, and Leh & Kargil in UT Ladakh.

JNVST 2026 Class 6 Admission: How to download admit card

Step 1: Visit the official website – navodaya.gov.in

Step 2: On the homepage, click on admit card link

Step 3: Enter credentials

Step 4: Click on submit and download admit card

The selection of the candidates to Class 6 will be based on the scores secured by candidates in the examination, which will carry 100 marks. The duration of the test will be one hour, the questions will be based on the objective type, and there will be three sections. The questions would include mental ability, arithmetic, and language tests.
