JEE Advanced 2024 Result Declared: The Joint Entrance Examination Advanced (JEE Advanced) final answer key and result has been released on June 9. Candidates who appeared for the IIT JEE Advanced on May 26, will now be able to check and download the result from the official website – jeeadv.ac.in. The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras organised JEE Advanced this year.
Of the total 1,80,200 candidates appearing in both papers 1 and 2 in JEE Advanced 2024, as many as 48,248 candidates have qualified, of which 7,964 are female candidates. Ved Lahoti of IIT Delhi zone is the top ranker in the Common Rank List (CRL). He obtained 355 out of 360 marks. Dwija Dharmeshkumar Patel of IIT Bombay zone is the top-ranked female candidate with CRL 7. She obtained 332 out of 360 marks.
Zone-wise, Rajdeep Mishra (CRL 6) from IIT Bombay has bagged the top spot, IIT Delhi’s Ved Lahoti (CRL 1) and Avik Das (CRL 69) from IIT Guwalati are the zone wise toppers. IIT Kanpur’s Manya Jain, IIT Bhubaneswar Matcha Balaaditya and from IIT Madras Bhogalapalli Sandesh have topped the list by getting CRL 75, 11 and 3 respectively.
Among the top 10 candidates, the CRL 9 and CRL 10 have scored the same marks — 329. They are from IIT Bombay and IIT Madras zones.
The aggregate marks in JEE Advanced is calculated as the sum of the marks obtained in mathematics, physics and chemistry. Candidates have to satisfy the subject-wise as well as the aggregate qualifying marks to be included in the JEE Advanced 2024 rank list.
To access and download the JEE Advanced 2024 result, candidates will be required to login at the website with credentials including registration numbers and dates of birth. Prior to the final answer key and the result, IIT Madras had released the provisional answer key and allowed students to send feedback and comments till June 3.
Students who qualify JEE Advanced will become eligible to register for the counselling by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) at josaa.nic.in. The registration process for the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) will also start from today at the JEE Advanced website – jeeadv.ac.in. Students interested in pursuing architecture programmes offered at IIT (BHU) Varanasi, IIT Kharagpur and IIT Roorkee can apply for AAT 2024 till June 10 (5 pm).
JEE Advanced 2024 exam was conducted on May 26 in two shifts. Students who appeared for the IIT entrance examination found both the papers of JEE Advanced 2024 balanced with a lengthy math. JEE Advanced is held for undergraduate (UG) admission to institutes including Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs).
