IIT Madras conducts admission to BTech in Computer Science and Engineering through the Joint Engineering Entrance (JEE) Main and JEE Advanced. Institute also offers dual degree five-year course in computer science and engineering, leading to MTech and BTech degrees at the end of fifth year.
The online registration process for JEE Advanced will be conducted between April 30 and May 4. The written exam is scheduled to be conducted on June 4. Students qualifying JEE Advanced examination and other eligibility criteria will be allotted seats in JOSAA counselling in the participating institutes.

This year JEE Main examination is being conducted in two sessions: Session 1 was concluded on February 4 while session 2 is scheduled for the month of April. The registration process for session two began on February 15 and will conclude on March 12.
