Gujarat GSEB Board Class 10th Result 2024: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has announced the class 10 result 2024 on May 11 at 8 am. The GSEB Class 10 results are available on the official website, gseb.org.
This year, the overall pass percentage is 82.56 per cent. It is an observable jump of 18 per cent from last year’s 64.62 per cent. The Gujarat Board conducted the Class 10 exams from February 16 and March 4.
The pass percentage of basic math subject is lowest at 83.4 per cent while the highest standard maths is 99.45 per cent.
Analyzing examination from district wise, Gandhinagar district secured the highest pass percentage of 87.22 per cent, while the lowest is Porbandar with a pass percentage of 74.57.
Students, who appeared for the examination have to check the Gujarat board results at its official website — gseb.org using their login credentials, like admit card number and date of birth among others. Here are some steps that students can use to check their GSEB SSC 2024 results.
To check the scorecard, candidates need to click on the “Examination Results” section on the home page and have to select “Senior Secondary Annual Examination 2024”. Then, choose your respective subject, and enter your roll number and roll code in the designated subject and you are done. The GSEB Class 10 scorecard will be visible on the screen. It is advised to download and save the scorecard for future reference.
The GSEB SSLC exam was conducted at over 347 examination centers across the state. The GSEB officials also made surprise visits to the exam centers as a measure to check the instances of cheating and using unfair practices.
In 2023, 64.62 per cent of students passed the exam showing a marginal decline from 65.18 per cent in 2022. Surat district topped with 76.45 per cent and Dahod became the low performer with 40.75 per cent. Girls performed better than boys with 70.62 per cent.
Once the results are declared, students will also have the option to request photocopies of their answer booklets and OMR sheets. Additionally, students who fail to clear the exams will be able to appear for the compartment exams, for which the details will be out after results are declared.
