COMEDK UGET 2024 on May 12; registration begins soon

The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has announced the exam schedule for the Undergraduate Entrance Test for engineering programmes (UGET).

As per the official schedule, the COMEDK UGET 2024 will be held on May 12. The registration for the COMEDK UGET 2024 for admission to BTech programmes will begin soon at the official website – comedk.org.

“The Entrance Exam for COMEDK UGET Engineering Courses for the year 2024 will be held on Sunday, 12th May 2024,” a statement on the comedk.org website read.

COMEDK UGET 2024 will be conducted for admissions into 150 engineering colleges in Karnataka and the seat selection process will be based on a single common entrance test followed by centralised counselling.

The test for engineering programmes will be held online as a computer-based test and is set to be conducted on an all India basis across the country to facilitate the students to appear in the test closer to their homes.

While announcing the exam date, the consortium in a statement said, “A detailed calendar of events and the information Brochure along with eligibility criteria in this behalf would be hosted on the website (www.comedk.org) in due course.”

Authorities also warned the candidates still dependent on third parties including internet cafe for registering for the engineering entrance test, downloading rank card, choice filling in the counselling and payment of fees.

As per the eligibility criteria, the candidates appearing for the Karnataka UGET 2024 exam must have qualified Class 12 PUC or other equivalent examination with at least 45 per cent marks to be considered eligible to register online.
