Chhattisgarh NEET UG counselling 2024: The Chhattisgarh Directorate of Medical Education (CGDME) has released the provisional allotment list for the first round of undergraduate counseling through the National Eligibility Entrance Test, Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2024.

Candidates who took part in the Chhattisgarh NEET UG counseling 2024 for MBBS and BDS programmes can visit the official website to view the seat allotment — cgdme.admissions.nic.in.

This year, a total of 1,967 applicants have secured seats in the provisional Chhattisgarh NEET UG first round of counselling, including 1,632 MBBS candidates and 332 BDS candidates.

Chhattisgarh NEET UG 2024: How to check

Step 1: Visit the official website — cgdme.admissions.nic.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, select the link which says ‘ Chhattisgarh NEET UG counselling 2024’.

Step 3: A new page will appear and then candidates can check MBBS, BDS seat allotment.

Those who have been allotted seats in Chhattisgarh NEET UG counselling must report to the assigned institute between August 31 and September 5 for document verification, in accordance with the counselling schedule. Following the document verification, applicants must pay the required fee and complete the admission process.

Candidates who want to progress from round 1 to round 2 must log in to their Chhattisgarh NEET UG candidate portal and indicate their willingness to upgrade. Choosing this option will nullify their previous choices, and they will need to make new selections, which they must then lock and submit as final.

The directorate in the notification also apprised the interested candidates that it will compulsory for them to take admission in the government medical college given in round one of the counselling. It is also important to note that this rule does not apply to private institutes in the state and government dental colleges. Free exit with forfeiture of registration fee is available only in the first round, read the information brochure of the directorate.
