CBSE Class 10th Result 2024 Declared: Websites to check scores – cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, results.digilocker.gov.in, umang.gov.in

CBSE Board 10th Result 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today released the class 10 results 2024. Those who appeared for the exams can now check and download the scorecards from the official websites

Students can check their CBSE Xth results by keying in their roll number, school number, date of birth and admit card ID.

To check their CBSE Class 10 scorecards, candidates are required to key in their registration number or roll number and password in the login window of the app. First, the candidate need to visit the play store if the student is an Android user or App Store if the student is an iOS user, then go to services section and visit CBSE, after that enter the registered mobile number and login with either OTP or MPIN, enter your required credentials like registration number or roll number and finally download and save the result for future use.

First students need to visit the URL — cbseservices.digilocker.gov.in/activatecbse — for initiation of the DigiLocker account confirmation process. Then to confirm your DigiLocker account you have to select your class first either 1- or 12. After that, enter your school code, roll number, and 6-digit security PIN (the PIN shall be provided by your school), and then click “Next”. An OTP will be sent on mobile.

Now enter OTP (One time password) received on your mobile number and click on the “Submit” button. The DigiLocker account will be activated. Upon successful confirmation, click on “Go to DigiLocker account”. In case, if you are already a registered user of DigiLocker i.e. your mobile number is already registered with DigiLocker, you may be prompted with the following message i.e. “Please click on Go to DigiLocker account”.

This time, a total of 212384 students (9.49%) have scored 90% and above, which is an increase from last year’s 195799. Another 47983 students (2.14%) have scored 95% and above, which is also an increase from 44,297 candidates in 2023.

The overall pass percentage of Class 10th 2024 has been recorded at 93.60 per cent this year, which is an increase of 0.48 per cent from last year’s 93.12 per cent.

In 2023, the overall pass percentage of Class 10 recorded was 93.12 per cent. Trivandrum had come up as the best performing region at 99.91 per cent, followed by Bengaluru at 99.18 per cent, Chennai at 99.14 per cent, Ajmer at 97.27 per cent and Pune at 96.92 per cent. In Class 10 exams last year, as many as 21,84,117 students registered for the board exam out of which a total of 21,65,805 students appeared. The total number of candidates who qualified the exam was 20,16,779.

Gender-wise, girls have done better than boys by 2.04%. This time, the overall pass percentage of girls has increased from 94.25% in 2023 to 94.75% in 2024. For boys, the pass percentage increased from 92.27% in 2023 to 92.71% in 2024. For transgender students too, it increased from 90% last year to 91.30% this year.

From next year onwards, the Board is proposing a pilot run of open-book tests in a few schools for English, mathematics and science for Classes 9 and 10 and English, mathematics and biology for Classes 11 and 12 later this year to evaluate time taken by students to complete such tests and stakeholders’ response.
