BSEM Manipur Board Exams 2023: Board of Secondary Education, Manipur (BSEM) today conducted the first High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) exam for the academic session 2022-23.
Manipur Chief Minister, N Biren Singh took to Twitter to wish the students. He wrote, “exams are a part of life but definitely not the determining factor for success.”

The first paper was English and it was conducted from 9 am to 12 pm. The exams will conclude on April 3.
Recently, BSEM chairperson Akham Joykumar said that 38,127 students are appearing for exams this year, out of which, 18,286 are male and 18,628 are female. There are 596 male external candidates and 617 female external candidates. And 12 specially-abled candidates.
The exams were conducted in 158 centres across the state. A total of 8,130 students appeared from government schools, 1520 from aided institutions and 28,477 from private schools.
