Express photo) BSEB Bihar Board 12th Result 2023 Declared: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB), Patna announced the result for the Bihar Board Intermediate exam result on March 21. Students who appeared for the exam can check the results at the official websites — results.biharboardonline.com and interbseb.com.
This year, a total of 13,18,227 students registered for the exam, out of which, 6,36,432 were girls and 6,81,795 were boys. The BSEB intermediate exams were held in 1,464 centres across the state between February 1 to 11.
Girls have topped in all three streams – science, arts and commerce this year.

Meanwhile, the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) announced cash prizes, laptops and Kindles for meritorious students. Each topper in all three streams will receive Rs 1 lakh prize money along with one Kindle e-book reader and one laptop while the second topper will get Rs 75,000 with one Kindle and laptop.
The third topper will receive Rs 50,000 with a laptop and Kindle. The BSEB fourth, fifth, and sixth toppers will get Rs 15,000 and a laptop each.
Bihar Board also announced Rs 25,000 for all unmarried girls who have passed the Inter exam this year.
Anand Kishore, chairman, BSEB announced that there will be a mentoring programme for Bihar Board Class 12 toppers 2023.
This year, the students got 100 per cent additional questions in objective type. It means, the students had to answer 50 questions out of the 100 questions given. The answer key for the same was released on March 2.
While the overall pass percentage had increased from 79 per cent in 2020 to 80 per cent in 2022, how students fare this year is yet to be seen this year, especially for girls. While boys have been higher in attendance, girls have scored better. In 2022, the overall passing percentage was 83.39 per cent for girls.
