(Express Photo by Kamleshwar Singh / representative)AIBE 19 Registration 2024: The Supreme Court of India has also allowed the final year students to register for the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) 19 exam 2024 scheduled to be held on November 24. Candidates have time until October 25 to fill in the application for AIBE. Students who want to appear for the examination can visit — barcouncilofindia.org and read the guidelines, and syllabus carefully.
The admit cards for AIBE 2024 will be released on November 18. The host, the Bar Council of India has also given time to candidates to modify the application form in case, they made an error. For the same, candidates will have the option to edit by October 30.
Schedule of the AIBE 2024 examination
— Law aspirants need to hold a 3-year or 5-year law degree from a law institution that is recognized and approved by the Bar Council of India.
— Candidates need to be enrolled with a State Bar Council as an advocate.
— There is no upper age limit and students can appear for the AIBE 19 exam as many times as required to clear the examination.

The AIBE 2024 passing marks for candidates belonging to the General and OBC categories is 45 per cent, while it is only 40 per cent for candidates belonging to SC, ST and disabled categories. The exam is conducted in 50 cities having 140 centres as an open book exam. Meanwhile the Council has added, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh has an examination center for the convenience of students.
The 100 marks examination will cover various aspects of the law like: Constitutional law, Indian Pena Code, intellectual property, Evidence Act, Family Law, Administration Law, Cyber Law, Law related to Taxation, Law of Contract, Specific Relief, Property Laws, Negotiable Instrument Act, Land Acquisition Act, among others.
