Bar Council of India opens AIBE XXII registrations from August 19, with applications closing October 27. The exam will be held November 29, 2026. Candidates can apply at aibe.digivarsity.online.

A total of 1,75,701 candidates appeared for AIBE XXI, including 1,10,909 male candidates, 64,784 female candidates and 8 transgender candidates. According to the BCI, the overall pass percentage stands at 65.92%, with 1,15,805 candidates qualifying.

The circular instructs educational institutions to sensitise students that internships are "meant for learning discipline, humility, research, drafting, observation, court craft, professional ethics and responsibility" and "not meant for social media display, self-promotion or dramatisation of Court life."

The Bar Council of India has released the provisional answer key for AIBE 21. The examination was conducted on June 7, 2026.
