Calicut University CU Second Degree Allotment results 2016 declared

CU Second Allotment result 2016: The results of Calicut University’s (CU) 2nd Degree allotment 2016 have been declared today, July 1, 2016.

The results of CU’s degree trial allotment were released on June 18 this year after which students had the option to change their results till June 21. The results of the revised degree allotment, that is CU first degree allotment were released on June 23.

CU, the largest varsity in the state of Kerala, was the second to be established in the state, in the year 1968. It is situated in Thenjipalam, Malappuram district. The varsity came into existence after the Kerala University was bifurcated, after which four post graduate departments in Calicut and 54 constituent colleges in northern Kerala districts went to Calicut University. As of now, it has about 30 post graduate departments with almost 370 colleges affiliated to it.

The main academic campus of the varsity is located in Tenhipalam, which is 24 kms towards the south of Calicut. This campus as various departments, such as Arabic, Botany, Biotechnology, Centre for Women Studies, Chemistry, Commerce & Management Studies, Computer Science, Education, English, Hindi, History, West Asian Studies, Mass Communication & Journalism, Life Science, Library and Information Science, Life Long Learning & Extension, Malayalam and Kerala Studies, Mathematics, Nano Science & Technology, Philosophy, Physics, Physical Education, Psychology, Russian & Centre for Comparative Literature, Sanskrit, School of Folklore Studies, Statistics, and Zoology.

Steps to check CU 2nd degree allotment results 2016:

Log on to the official website of the varsity

Go to the ‘UG CAP 2016’ tab displayed on the main page

You will be redirected to a new page where you will have to enter your registration number, your CAP ID, security code as well as the code given.

The second degree allotment will be displayed when you click on ‘Login’ or press ‘Enter’

Check and save the result
