Paper Vs Screen
The use of tablets and laptops by advocates is commonplace during court hearings. On Friday, National Green Tribunal Chairperson Justice Prakash Shrivastava urged a young advocate to refer to the physical case files after he saw her nervously scrolling through a mobile phone while replying to a query posed by the bench. In a lighter vein, the bench said perhaps the young advocate would be better served perusing the physical case files to find the answer to the queries instead of trying to look for it on a small screen.
